Celebrating annual Frieze Art Fair, the former Chalton Gallery (now Somers Gallery) presented a groundbreaking public art programme of more than 10 artworks located in multiple locations across Somers Town. A diverse variety of performances, site specific installations and paintings displays inhabited local shops, pub, streets and council housing estates, exploring the capability of art to unite people rather than being a market commodity.

Chalton was a non-profit gallery founded in 2015, located in the heart of Somers Town. Its exhibition programme focused on promotion of contemporary art and artists at the early stage of their career. It engaged with the local community, spaces and people offering active public programme of exhibitions, residencies, talks and presentations.
